Play Duets with Me! | Online Workshop: 22 May 2027
Welcome to 'Play Duets with Me!', an online class face to face with the founder of Team Recorder, Sarah Jeffery!
This is exactly what it sounds like - the opportunity to play some duets together, and enjoy some lovely music! How will it work? I will send you sheet music in advance. Then in the class, we'll play together (with you all on mute so my computer doesn't explode). It's the best way I can think of to get us all together, and to feel like we are playing together!
Important: please don't feel that you have to play perfectly! Participants will all be playing on mute, so any wrong notes will go unheard ;) This is more about having fun than being perfect!
Repertoire for this edition:
- Now is the month of maying, Thomas Morley (1595)
- Telemann Canonic Sonata III in D minor (1738)
- Bourrée, Johann Hasse (1699 - 1783)
- and something new!

When? 17 October 2026 | 8pm CET Amsterdam time (that's 7pm London, 2pm EST...)
Duration? 90 minutes
Where? On Zoom. You will receive a link to the Zoom class as the date approaches.
Level? Flexible: roughly intermediate. I will provide a progressive selection of pieces. I will make sure there is always an easier voice that can be played on C and F instruments alike.
Which size of recorder? Alto as a basis, but each piece will have an 'relaxed playing' line suitable for either C or F instruments.
What if I miss the class? Don't worry! You will have access to a video of the class for 2 months afterwards.
Accessibility? The class with be given in English, with automatic captions. The video registration of the class will have captions too. A transcript will be available afterwards. The accompanying PDF handout will be available in text-only and audio description upon request.
